Thought you might like to know your posts 'Daddies Dearest' and Me Gustas Tu (craftily combined with a parrot) fully succeeded in making a number of dads, step-dads, ex-wives (and at least one mum, for that matter) very very happy indeed.

And now, for something completely different, has anyone been following the bizarre events now unfolding with right wing bruiser Mr David Davis, here in the UK..?

If not, here's a little background info on it: Haltemprice Convergence?

And here's the aforementioned parrot, er dancing

Thanks, Mark. Love in the time of alt, extended and disappeared families seems to require a simple song.

Bizarre indeed, the Mr. Davis, but the parrot even more so. Seriously loved it.

Glad to hear you loved the parrot, I wasn't exactly sure how that would go down. In an age of alt, indeed the song is all and that bird knows how to kick it.

Talking of kicking songs - UK Indymedia reportage has improved markedly. For the appearance of Bealzeebub today taking Tea with the Queen, such a lyrical headline to relish Blood on the streets as Bush enters via Brown's back passage

.. barricades at Downing Street + a bit of a riot no less, & with no Olympic flame in sight to boot!

A sign of things to come?
